About
How I think about my coaching, consulting, and facilitation practice
Most of the important decisions in our lives don't announce themselves clearly. They show up as a quiet unease, a job offer that doesn't feel as good as it should, a team that's technically fine but not actually working, a season that's ending before anyone's ready to name it. My work is helping people slow down enough to meet that moment honestly, instead of rushing past it.
Whether I'm in a single coaching conversation or facilitating a room of seventy-five people, a few things I hold steady: presence over performance, process over urgency, relationship over expertise, seasons over constant striving. I'm a strategist at heart, so I care about getting a team from ambiguity to clarity. But underneath the strategy, what I earnestly care about is helping people rediscover their own joy and clarity, so they can live out what they're genuinely called to do.
What I bring to it
I've worked as an executive director, a researcher, a consulting managing director, an advisor to national and international governments, and a pre-K teacher. Across education, government, multinational institutions, social impact organizations, and nonprofits, I've experienced both the joy and the drain that work can hold. That range is what lets me sit with a first-year teacher, a CEO and a board chair with equal ease, and it's why I'm as interested in unlocking potential in a team as I am in helping a single leader find their footing again.
What my collection of experiences have taught me, more than any single role title, is that leadership development and coaching were always part of the work, quietly present in every strategy session, every team I built, every leader I advised, even when it wasn't what the job description said. I like to describe my current work as taking what was implicit across twenty years and making it the actual work, so I can be that same kind of steady presence for other leaders, the one I was fortunate to have in my own corner along the way.
Let's talk
If something in this is resonating, the easiest next step is a Clarity Call, a relaxed, confidential conversation about what you and/or your team is facing and whether working with me is the right fit. I look forward to connecting!
